VQ Yachts delivered the first of our new flagship VQ54 range during the week of 24 July. Created for a client in Ibiza, the largest VQ yacht built to date embodies all the technical qualities discerning clients have come to love and expect from VQ Yachts, while providing even more comfort. The VQ54 is in effect an expansion of the VQ48 designed to enable a dedicated garage for a Williams 285 Turbojet tender. The resulting extended length and beam also benefit the volume on board, with space for up to 20 people to socialise in stylish surroundings. The view is spray-free even at high speeds, and the deep walkaround ensures great vantage points to see and be seen.
The VQ54 is a real joy to drive, and capable of impressive top speeds above 45 knots. She represents a combination of speed and comfort that is unrivalled in a boat of this size. We took the first VQ54 for a ride around Ibiza in rough seas with nine people on board and her handling was flawless.
