True lovers of car design will notice it right away: Guido de Groot often calls upon his skills as a car designer.
As you can see in the video, Guido makes it look remarkably easy as he commits the new VQ15 sketches to paper, shaping a beautiful whole. Within just a few lines it becomes clear in which direction the design is going and how the details will eventually take shape. While this all requires a great deal of study, practice and experience, such a high degree of skill also showcases an outstanding talent.
This form of freehand sketching is more or less how Guido always works, including for the 100-foot-plus superyachts designed for other yards. The first sketches always come from him, with the details elaborated on in further detail together with his highly talented colleagues at the Guido de Groot Design office.
