The new VQ40, available with either outboard or inboard engines, is already turning out to be a great success in the US. Up to 16 people
The layout of the VQ40 revolves around a wealth of space, with seats and loungers for 16 people and plenty of room to walk around safely and comfortably. In addition, the boat is fitted with a transparent T-Top that lets in air but not heat. There are lounging areas fore and aft, each furnished with extremely comfortable and high-quality cushions. Behind the driver and co-pilot seats is a smart outdoor-galley area, complete with an electric grill, Corian countertop, sink, wine cooler/fridge and/or an optional icemaker, and a storage locker for cutlery, plates and glassware. 60+ knots
Super powerful and versatile even by our standards, the VQ40 comes with a choice of engines and top speeds ranging from 35 to 60+ knots. The standard installation is for 2x 225 hp Mercury Verado outboards, giving a top speed of 35 knots. The standard inboard propulsion setup is twin 320 hp Volvo D4 diesels with DPI drives, or you can go for two 440 hp Volvo D6 inboard diesels.
The VQ40 Veloce version is equipped with 3 x 450 hp Mercury Verados, giving a top speed of 60+ knots. Regardless of which installation you choose, you’ll truly feel the power when you take your place in one of the co-pilot seats.
